Product Overview

VNMG160408E-SF (short mark VNMG332-SF) T8415 is a 35° narrow rhombic double-sided negative turning insert developed by Pramet dedicated to high-precision fine finishing of stainless steel, alloy steel and heat-resistant super alloys. Equipped with SF sharp micro-finish chipbreaker, E-type micro reinforced edge chamfer and smooth R0.8 nose radius, each insert provides four independent usable cutting edges to lower per-piece processing cost. Adopting versatile T8415 TiBN PVD anti-sticking coating substrate, it perfectly matches MVJNR series profiling tool holders; the narrow 35° included angle easily reaches deep narrow cavities, long tapers and small inner bores inaccessible by 80° square inserts. Widely applied on CNC lathes, Swiss sliding head automatic lathes for medical hardware, aerospace, automotive electronics and hydraulic precision thin-wall metal finishing.
