Product Overview

CNMG190612E-SM (short mark CNMG643-SM) T9415 is a large-size double-sided negative rhombic turning insert developed by Pramet for universal medium roughing and semi-finishing of steel materials. Equipped with SM balanced multi-purpose chipbreaker, E-type reinforced anti-chipping edge chamfer and moderate R1.2 nose radius, each insert provides four durable usable cutting edges to lower single-piece machining cost. Adopting T9415 latest thick MT-CVD high-temperature resistant coating substrate, it perfectly matches MCLNR19 heavy-duty external turning holders, balancing stock removal efficiency and machined surface quality, suitable for both continuous smooth turning and mild interrupted forging blank processing. Widely applied on heavy CNC lathes, horizontal turning centers for automotive, hydraulic, mold, wind power and heavy machinery mass metal manufacturing.
