Product Overview

DFT05T308HP KC7140 is an original high-feed indexable triangular drill insert under Kennametal Drill Fix DFT series, specially developed for high-efficiency shallow hole and medium-deep hole drilling. Equipped with HP high-feed chipbreaker and R0.8 reinforced cutting corner, matched with DFT series modular U-drill bodies, this insert adopts KC7140 premium PVD coated carbide substrate to balance hardness and toughness. It performs stably in continuous batch drilling of carbon steel, alloy steel, stainless steel and cast iron, effectively reducing cutting heat, avoiding edge chipping and solving chip winding problems in mass production. Widely used on vertical machining centers and mill-turn machines for mold, auto and hydraulic precision hole machining.
